Every great portrait begins with a conversation
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to know what to wear. You don’t even need to know exactly what kind of headshots you need. We’ll start with a conversation and figure it out together.
Most people don’t reach out because they’re excited to have their picture taken.
They reach out because they need photographs that finally feel right.
Maybe your current headshot feels outdated. Maybe your business has changed. Maybe you’re auditioning, launching something new, updating LinkedIn, or stepping into a more visible role.
And maybe, like most of my clients, you’re thinking:
“I hate having my picture taken.”
That’s exactly why we start by talking.
Before I ever pick up a camera, we’ll talk about where these images will be used, how you want to be perceived, what has and hasn’t worked before, and what would make this experience feel successful.

Don't just take my word for it.
Shirene A.
“I’ve never seen myself the way Jeremy captured me. He made me feel completely at ease, like I could show up exactly as I am, and somehow turned that into the most beautiful, authentic photos I’ve ever had. It was fun, empowering, and honestly a little life-changing.”
Aleasha S.
“Jeremy has a real gift; he put my child at ease in seconds and captured beautifully authentic expressions, all in a short mini-session. As a former photographer, I was genuinely impressed by his talent and calm confidence. Just the previews had me in awe, I can’t wait to see the full gallery!”
Katie J.
“I was so nervous about getting headshots, but Jeremy instantly put me at ease. He captured a wide range of natural, flattering looks and made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable. He’s efficient, encouraging, and incredibly talented, and Sarah, his hair and makeup artist, made me feel so seen and cared for. I left feeling confident and excited. Book him, you’ll be so glad you did.”

FAQs
-
Absolutely.
In fact, that’s exactly why every portrait experience begins with a conversation. We’ll talk about your goals, where your current photos are being used, and whether updating them makes sense right now. If I don’t think new headshots are the right next step, I’ll tell you.
-
You’re in good company.
Almost every client who walks into my studio tells me some version of, “I hate having my picture taken,” or “I’m just not photogenic.”
My job isn’t simply to take great photographs. It’s to create an environment where you feel comfortable enough to look like yourself. I’ll guide you through every expression, pose, and adjustment so you’re never left wondering what to do.
-
We’ll talk about that before your session.
Once we decide to work together, you’ll receive my comprehensive Headshot Style & Preparation Guide, along with personalized recommendations based on your profession, goals, and the style of portraits we’re creating.
-
That’s something we’ll decide together.
During our conversation, we’ll discuss how your images will be used, how much variety you need, and what you’re hoping to accomplish. I’ll recommend the session that best fits your goals rather than asking you to figure it out on your own.
-
I’ll guide you through the entire experience from beginning to end.
You don’t need to know how to pose or have any modeling experience. I’ll direct everything from posture and angles to expression and eye contact so your portraits feel natural, relaxed, and authentically you.
-
After your session, I’ll carefully curate the strongest images and present them in a private online gallery. From there, you’ll select your favorites based on the collection included with your session, with the option to purchase additional images if you’d like.
-
My goal is simple: you’ll look like yourself on your very best day.
Every selected image includes professional retouching to reduce temporary distractions while preserving your natural appearance. I don’t believe in making people look like someone else. The finished portraits should still look unmistakably like you.
-
Your curated gallery is typically ready within about a week of your session. Once you’ve made your selections, professionally finished images are usually delivered within one to two weeks.
If you have a specific deadline, just let me know. I’ll always do my best to accommodate it.

My studio is located in Denver’s RiNo Art District, one of the city’s most creative neighborhoods. It’s designed specifically for headshots and personal branding photography, with a relaxed atmosphere that helps clients feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
-
Yes!
In addition to individual headshots and personal branding sessions, I work with businesses of all sizes to create consistent, approachable, and professional headshots for teams, leadership groups, and entire organizations. Whether you need a single executive portrait or headshots for your whole company, I’d be happy to talk through what would work best.
-
That’s perfectly okay.
The conversation isn’t a sales call. It’s an opportunity to answer your questions, understand your goals, and help you decide what makes the most sense. Whether we end up working together now, later, or not at all, I want you to leave feeling informed and confident about your decision.
THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I’m Jeremy!
I like to laugh. I also like making other people laugh. My therapist says I deflect with humor, and she’s probably right. But I’ve learned that laughter has a way of helping people relax, and that’s especially true when there’s a camera involved.
We laugh a lot during my sessions.
When people stop thinking about the camera, they stop trying to pose. They let their guard down. That’s when the real moments happen. That’s when I capture the photographs clients tell me are the best they’ve ever had of themselves.
I’ve been photographing people for nearly 20 years, and I still love sitting down with someone new, hearing their story, and helping them tell it visually.
That’s why every portrait begins with a conversation.
We’ll get to know each other. We’ll talk about your goals, what these images are for, and anything you’re nervous about before we ever start taking photographs.
I’m not a “shoot a few frames and send you on your way” kind of photographer.
My goal isn’t just to create great headshots. It’s to create an experience where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself.
The photographs come from there.
I can’t wait to hear your story!
